Peak, McGinnis speak on Model Based Systems Engineering

Atlanta (May 19, 2009) — Russell Peak (MARC) and Leon McGinnis (ISyE) spoke to the systems engineering division, modeling and simulation committee, of the National Defense Industries Association on April 22, 2009. Peak described a multi-disciplinary approach to integrating design and manufacturing, using SysML, and McGinnis described how SysML is enabling the design-to-manufacturing transfer of product data, and also how SysML is being used to create an "on demand" factory simulation capability.
