  • Exclusive Membership Forum for Senior Supply Chain Executives
  • Discuss Critical Supply Chain Issues and Challenges with Stimulating Thought Leaders
  • Directed by Jaymie Forrest
  • Spring and Fall Meetings on the Georgia Tech Campus

Georgia Tech's Supply Chain Executive Forum (SCEF) represents THE most relevant and valuable opportunity for senior supply chain executives to enhance the strategic impact of their supply chain processes and activities. The SCEF meets twice each year at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, and will help its members to identify new and compelling ways to:

  • Streamline operations to enhance profitability
  • Integrate supply chain strategy with corporate strategy, and
  • Grow professionally within and beyond their current organizations.

Membership in the Supply Chain Executive Forum is $10,000 per year. Benefits include two annual meetings in Atlanta, and access to the extensive logistics and supply chain management programs of the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute. The SCEF purposely includes a broad range of organizations that are essential to the success of any supply chain (e.g., retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, suppliers, transport providers, 3PLs, IT and software firms, etc.). The SCEF is founded on the belief that true supply chain integration occurs only when these organizations work together effectively toward the realization of mutually-beneficial goals and objectives.

Purpose and Objectives

The mission of the Georgia Tech Supply Chain Executive Forum is to provide resources and facilitation for its members and their companies as they explore opportunities to enhance the success of their supply chains. This is accomplished through an interactive portfolio of resources that create value and respond to the needs of individuals who have executive-level responsi¬bility for supply chain activity.

SCEF will:
  • Focus on the needs of supply chain executives, those who are involved in management and leadership of supply chain activity as well as the determination of strategic supply chain directions and initiatives.
  • Provide an exclusive, but collegial environment in which supply chain executives may identify, discuss, debate, and resolve critical supply chain issues and challenges.
  • Foster a dialogue that will reinforce the strategic role of each supply chain participant as well as focus on the need for coordination both between and among supply chain participants. This high-level interaction occurs between member executives, Georgia Tech faculty and partners, and top-notch experts and authorities on topics of interest.
  • Address and provide insight into key issues that are challenging to supply chain executives.
  • Provide a forum that will facilitate improved decision- making by supply chain executives who experience a continually-changing, and increasingly-challenging business environment.
