Beijing/Singapore Summer Program A Hit
Atlanta (September 14, 2007) — The Beijing/Singapore Summer Program, led by ISyE Professor Chen Zhou, offers undergraduate students the opportunity to have a culturally rich learning experience overseas while gaining ISyE course credits. ISyE students Nicki Skillings, Sandesh Reddy, and Margaret Reinhard discuss their experiences and what they learned in this year's program.

J. G. "Jim" Dai Awarded Edenfield Professorship
Atlanta (August 13, 2007) — Professor Jim Dai has recently been awarded the Edenfield Professorship in the Stewart School of ISyE for a three-year term. James C. Edenfield (IE '57), CEO and President of American Software Inc, established the Edenfield Professorship as a way to support the Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech in sustaining and leading the field in research and education. -
Students Tour Norfolk Southern
Atlanta (April 23, 2007) — Georgia Tech students in the Dual Master degree Program (DMP) and the Global Logistics Scholars (GLS) program toured Norfolk Southern's John W. Whitaker Intermodal Terminal on April 4, 2007. Participants in the DMP and GLS programs tour various manufacturing and distribution centers throughout the semester as part of the program curriculum.
