Andrea Laliberte is a Logistics Professional with demonstrated success in logistics planning and execution to meet the customer needs in an increasingly complex international retail environment. She has been recognized for implementing new facilities, processes and initiatives to increase capacity, reduce costs and improve service and has a proven track record of leadership, problem solving, project management, negotiating and people development skills.
Andrea joined Georgia Tech’s Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISyE) as the Edenfield Executive in Residence in January 2013. In this role, she is using her extensive industry experience to offer ISyE students experiential learning opportunities that are reflective of the real world of business and enhance student’s leadership skills through these experiences through class projects. She is also available to counsel and advise students on their prospective career choices.
Previously, Laliberte was a Senior Vice President of Distribution and Consumer Service for Coach, Inc., a leading marketer of modern classic American accessories. In this role, she was responsible for global distribution, customer service, transportation, and trade compliance. Laliberte joined Coach in 1991 as Director of Operations Support. Prior to joining Coach, Andrea was in the retail management consulting practice of Coopers & Lybrand (PWC). Her clients included L.L.Bean, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Bass Pro Shops.
Laliberte is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a BIE 1982 and a MSIE 1984. She is a current member of the Georgia Tech Alumni Trustee Board and Georgia Tech Advisory Board and is an emeritus member of the ISyE Advisory Board. Additionally, she was the recipient of the 2008 Georgia Tech College of Engineering Distinguished Alumnus Award.
