Marianne Wilde is a professional education instructor for the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics institute’s courses within the Supply Chain Analytics Professional certificate program.

Marianne is a Managing Consultant for ORTEC in Houston. With her expertise in strategic and tactical planning solutions, operations research, machine learning, and data analytics, she works in close cooperation with clients to give thorough, implementable quantitative advice and develop custom software applications. She has additional experience applying her skills in supply chain optimization in the oil, gas, and chemicals industry from working at ORTEC Headquarters in the Netherlands.

Marianne holds a Master of Science in Econometrics and Operations Research from a top Dutch university where she conducted graduate research at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Prior to joining ORTEC, Marianne spent years as an instructor in business mathematics, statistics, and financial management at three universities in the Netherlands and at one in Australia. She professionally tutored students for both the quantitative and verbal sections of the GMAT. She brings her well-crafted technical and teaching skills and a positive personality to all of her work, from projects involving billion dollar decisions by major companies to small projects that economically empower disadvantaged communities.
