Dr. Maximiliano E. Jimenez has been a management consultant for over 20 years, having performed consulting assignments or participated in international conferences in 12 countries of the Americas. His clients have included Cable & Wireless Panama, the Panama Canal Authority, Minera Panama, Copa Airlines and Empresa Panamena de Alimentos, as well as government agencies and development institutions such as IDB, World Bank and USAID. In the past, he served at the late Panama Canal Zone, and was the Deputy Secretary for the Private Sector at the National Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University, and holds Masters and B.S. from Penn State University and Saint Louis University, respectively. He has served on the faculties of Universidad Latina, Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua and University of Louisville on a part time basis, and is a member of the board of directors at Seguros Sura.
