Amazon Scholars Program – PhD: IE Supply Chain Engineering Concentration

Scholarships support and encourage under-represented students to consider careers in the transportation, supply chain management and logistics fields. 

Chosen recipients receive a three-year+ 50% graduate research assistantship (GRA) to perform doctoral research focused on a jointly agreed upon research theme (between Amazon, GT SCL leadership, and student). Recipients will work with an Amazon executive mentor, Amazon staff, and an SCL faculty member and have access to pertinent data and software tools. Participation may provide an opportunity for an Amazon internship as well as conference travel funds.

Qualifications

  • Must apply and be accepted into the *Georgia Tech PhD Industrial Engineering program - Supply Chain Engineering Track.
  • Must participate in the scholarship program for a minimum of three years.
  • Must focus research on agreed upon joint research theme and act as an Ambassador for the collaboration.
  • Must perform and excel in related coursework.
