Online courses are offered through Georgia Tech Professional Education. The interface is primarily point-and-click, and can be learned by anyone capable of using a web browser. There is no software to distribute, and no experience with HTML or other technical knowledge required.
An online version of our former Building the Lean Supply Chain Leader on-campus course. Enjoy the flexibility of covering the same material presented in the past on-campus version of the course at your pace and when you want. The online course includes 16 modules, each taking approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Upon enrollment, you’ll have 16 weeks or 4 months to complete all the course modules.

This self-paced, online professional development program allows you to decide when and where to learn. The course includes 16 modules, each taking about 1.5 hours to complete. Upon enrollment, you’ll have 16 weeks or 4 months to complete all the course.
Instead of focusing just on theory, this course will dive deeper into the actual application of the material being presented. It’s based on our years of collective operational experience leading teams and implementing lean supply chains. You’ll be able to use what you’ve learned and see the results first-hand.
This is not your typical read-the-screen and take-the-test type of training. Instead of posting hours of reading material online and calling it online training, we’ve invested in creating dynamic videos, interactive exercises and challenging knowledge assessments to keep students engaged and connected to the learning process.
Because this book is based on the Shingo Award winning book, PEOPLE: A Leader’s Day-to-day Guide To Building, Managing, And Sustaining Lean Organizations, the curriculum has been proven to help leaders build effective leadership skills to lead lean organizations. Plus, it has been tested in hundreds of live classroom sessions over the years in multiple environments – from university classrooms to the conference rooms of Fortune 500 companies.

This course is part of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Certificate.
For those interested in earning the Lean Supply Chain Professional Certificate, this course is the third and final course of the three-course certificate program. To earn the certificate, participants must register and complete the following courses in below sequence within six years:
Standard: $600.00, Alumni/Org Discount: $600.00, Certificate: $600.00 (cost of each course when signing up for and paying for a multi-course certificate program).
First time attendees pay the listed Course Fee. If you are a returning student of the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute (SCL) courses (or are active/retired military), you will receive a 10% discount when you enter the coupon code SCL-Alum on the "Check Out" page. If you register and pay for all required courses in a Supply Chain & Logistics certificate in one single transaction, you can receive a discount of 17% off each course by entering the coupon code SCL-Cert on the "Check Out" page. The program fee for LIVE courses (non-online) includes continental breakfasts, lunches, breaks, parking, internet access, and all classroom materials.
If the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute must cancel a program, registrants will receive a full refund. Georgia Tech, however, cannot assume the responsibility for other costs incurred. Due to program enrollment limits, early registration is encouraged. Registrations will be acknowledged by a letter of confirmation from Professional Education.
If SCL/GTPE cancels a course, participants will be notified via email or phone and will be given the option for a full refund or to transfer their registration and any fees paid to another course. It is the responsibility of the student to pay any difference in price, if applicable, when a transfer is made. SCL/GTPE is not responsible for nonrefundable plane tickets, hotel and rental car deposits, nor any other expenses incurred.Every effort is made to present the course as advertised herein; however, circumstances may make it necessary to alter the schedule and/or presenters.
