How Student Registration Works
We will be using Georgia Tech's CareerBuzz/Symplicity to capture student registration. You must complete the below by midnight September 3 (deadline extended to 9/7) for your resume to be included in the resume book/packet sent to attending organizations.
Please note that the below instructions are for accessing the system via a web browser.
- Review and update your resume. Convert it to PDF format when you are certain it will not change before the event date.
- Visit https://gatech-csm.symplicity.com/students and login using your GT account and password. If this is first time you have used CareerBuzz/Symplicity, make sure you complete your Public Profile and fill out information under My Account. If you have difficulty logging in, please visit https://career.gatech.edu/careerbuzz.
- Ensure you upload your resume and attach it to your Public profile. Note that you can upload multiple versions of your resume. Just be sure to choose the correct resume version when registering for our event!
- AFTER logging into CareerBuzz, find our Supply Chain Day event under Events or go to https://gatech-csm.symplicity.com/students/app/career-fairs/be1a74ac32fe03bf44d9dd12f4e8667c/overview directly.
- Click the Attend button in the upper right-hand area of our event page. Choose the appropriate version of your resume and click the Share button. You should see "You're Attending" noted towards the top of the page and you will be attached to our event.
We will be compiling a resume book/packet that includes students who note they are attending our event with a shared resume in CareerBuzz/Symplicity. We be sending the resume book to attending organizations September 8th. You must note that you will be attending with resume shared in CareerBuzz/Symplicity by midnight September 3rd for your resume to be included in the resume book/packet.
If you are a GT student and did not register via CareerBuzz/Symplicity by the noted deadline, we welcome walk-ups.
Please also note...
- We will be capturing organization opportunities outside of CareerBuzz/Symplicity and compiling our own Organization Information Packet. A week before the event, you will receive an email including a link to this file. Please take time BEFORE the event to review this information since it details opportunities relating to the attending organizations.
- On the day of the event, dress appropriately and plan on arriving at our start time. Please note that a student bag drop is provided inside our venue space to the left after you enter.
- Stay as long as you can and talk to as many organization representatives as possible. We understand that you may have class or other obligations and we do not require you to arrive at the beginning of the session or stay for the entire session.
- We encourage students to become familiar with the CareerBuzz/Symplicity. Visit https://career.gatech.edu/workshops/ for workshops/information sessions. You can find recordings of Georgia Tech Career Center webinars on MediaSpace.
