Georgia Tech's Undergraduate Supply Chain Programs Ranking Rises to No. 6

July 12, 2016

The undergraduate supply chain programs at Georgia Institute of Technology have been ranked No. 6 among North American undergraduate programs by Gartner, a leading information technology research and advisory company. This ranking is based on supply chain offerings through the Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISyE) and Scheller College of Business. The 2016 performance represents a significant rise in rankings from Gartner’s 2014 rankings, when the Institute came in at No. 21.

"We are proud of the continued excellence emerging from ISyE. This ranking further validates what we've known all along: that the quality of our program and its graduates is among highest in the nation. It reaffirms our confidence in our ability to provide students with experiences and skill sets that support success in the work place and make them life-long learners," said Dima Nazzal, executive director of academic administration and student experience at ISyE.

Gartner ranked 51 universities nationwide with undergraduate programs on program scope, industry value, and program size, gathering data through surveys and interviews of industry professionals and academics. The company highlighted program size as being particularly important because of continued demand for talent within the field. Georgia Tech scored as the highest-ranked program leader based on size.
